Support for Multiple Currencies - FX Revaluation

We implemented a new FX Revaluation configuration screen for creating FX revaluation configuration. Previously, you would configure the FX revaluation on the FX Revaluation screen.

Journal Ingestion

We have implemented the ability to ingest Journals into Fynapse.

For more details, refer to Journal Ingestion.

Journals are ingested either via the Ingestion screen or directly into the backed.

For detailed instructions how to ingest data files into Fynapse, refer to Data Input File Ingestion and Data Ingestion Using Backend.

Extraction - Errors and Defined Entities

We implemented a possibility to extract user defined Entities and Errors using the Fynapse Extraction screen. This functionality allows you to create extract configurations to define which user defined Entities and Errors should be extracted and run the extraction process manually or automatically (using the scheduler capability). Previously, you were able to extract only Journals and Unposted Journals.

Bulk Operations - Extract Configurations Feature Flag

In the previous release the functionality to download extract configurations to the Configuration Data JSON file was available under the invisible feature flag (that is, it was impossible to enable the feature via GUI). Now, it is released under the feature flag that can be enabled or disabled via GUI on the Feature Flags screen.

Bulk Operations - Errors and Defined Entities Extract Configurations

To ensure consistency with existing Fynapse configuration, we extended the Bulk Configuration feature to include user defined Entities and Errors extract configurations. Going forward you will be able to download the bulk configuration inclusive of extract configurations for user defined Entities and Errors and upload to another environment.

Enhancements for Extraction Logs and Ingest File Screens

We implemented pagination for Extraction logs and Ingest file screens to improve browsing them. Now you can configure how many logs or files you can see per page, 10, 20, 50 or 100. Additionally, at the bottom of the screens you are able to:

• See a number of pages that display logs or files and buttons to navigate between pages
• See information which page you are currently viewing and how many pages are available in total
• See how many logs or files are available in total. This number changes when you apply column filters.

Resolved Issues

Errors in Fynapse for Business Event ingestion/Journal creations (ASD-33067)

The issue was fixed. Previously, the cache of reprocessing would not clear correctly. Therefore, when after the deployment of a Fynapse version, reprocessing was run for the first time, the Business Date when this first reprocessing occurred would become fixed in reprocessing permanently.

Now, reprocessing has been synchronized with the current Business Date correctly and cache is cleared.
