Support for Multiple Currencies - FX Conversion Modes

As part of the on-going implementation of support for multiple currencies, we implemented a functionality that will allow to configure the following FX conversion modes:

• FX conversion
• Straight through processing, i.e. populate Journals with Functional and Reporting Amounts provided by upstream systems
• Prioritize values for Functional and Reporting Amounts from upstream systems, i.e. if a value is provided from an upstream system it is passed on to Journals, if no value is provided Fynapse performs the FX conversion

These conversion modes will be available after Support for multiple currencies is enabled.

Error Management

In the course of the on-going development of the Errors screen we introduced some enhancements to the screen.

We implemented the data preview limit on the grid that allows to display up to 100,000 of entries returned by the query. Once the preview limit is exceeded you need to export the results to a file to view all of them.

Secondly, the default query will display data from the current day and from last 7 days when you enter the Errors screen (the preview limit will apply here as well).

Lastly, a list of operators for text type attributes in a query will be limited to fewer options.

Validations

We implemented a new Validations screen, that allows you to view a list of validations you created in Fynapse.

Feature Flags

We implemented a new Feature Flags screen, that allows you to view the list of feature flags available in Fynapse.

This is a part of the on-going implementation that will be released in increments.
