Non-breaking changes

Summary

We’ve introduced a new set of configuration APIs for different areas in Fynapse.

We updated and expanded the table of contents for the REST API Reference guide to accomodate the larger volume of available REST API endpoints:

  • Platform & Settings - manage platform-wide settings, feature flags and configuration that control Fynapse behaviour.
  • Data Model - define and manage the data structures, business events and journal definitions used within Fynapse.
  • Accounting & Processing - configure accounting structures, currencies, calendars and processes used to manage and transform financial data.
  • Accounting Rules - define and manage the rules that determine how Business Events are interpreted and posted to accounts.
  • Data Ingestion & Extraction - ingest financial data into Fynapse and extract processed data for downstream systems and reporting.
  • Integrations & Automation - configure external system integrations, webhook notifications and automated workflows.

Balance Processing
