Error Management

A consolidated list of error messages generated during processing by the Accounting Engine has been added as a subsection of the Error Management article.

Data Input File Ingestion

Three new record-level validations have been added. They check if for a particular attribute number scale and precision are correct and if this attribute is not written in scientific notation. Proper error messages are showed in the error file.

The validation functionality has been enhanced to allow you to create validations for Journals and Journal Lines.

Accounting Rules Navigator Traceability

The Accounting Rules Navigator screen has been enhanced with a new comment feature. Now, whenever you change the configuration you will be prompted to add a comment which will in the future be visible on the Version History screen. This is part of an on-going implementation that will allow you to track the changes in Accounting Rules.
