Period Locking

This release introduces the Period Locking functionality and Period locking view screen.

Period locking allows you to control data feed incoming into periods in the form of posted Journals. By either closing or opening periods, you can either prevent new Journals from being posted or allow it.

Deferred Payments

This release introduces the Deferral Calculator functionality, which allows you to defer payments.

Data Input File Ingestion

The File Ingestion functionality was enhanced:

• a new column, Namespace, was introduced on the Ingest File screen.

Journal Types

This release introduces the Journal Types screen.

The Reversing Journals article has been migrated to the more extensive Journal Types article.

Configuration Data

Information about Journal Types and Deferral Calculator has been added to the description of the Configuration Data input file.

Other Changes

The greyed out menu items, which referred to functionalities that will be implemented in the future, have been removed from Fynapse screen.
