# 2023.4.4

> Release notes for Fynapse 2023.4.4

## Support for Multiple Currencies

### Defining Source Currency for Reporting Amount Calculations

As part of the on-going implementation of support for multiple currencies, we implemented an enhancement that will allow you to calculate Reporting Amounts based on the Transaction Amounts or Functional Amounts depending on the configuration defined on the Accounting Base level.

For more details, refer to [Multiple Currencies Configuration](/documentation/processing-configuration/multiple-currencies/multiple-currencies-configuration).

### Defining a Subset of Functional Currencies

As part of the on-going implementation of support for multiple currencies, we implemented an enhancement that will allow you to define a subset of functional currencies and then select currencies from this subset when defining functional currencies, e.g. on the Node Configuration of Accounting Bases screen.

For more details, refer to [Multiple Currencies Configuration](/documentation/processing-configuration/multiple-currencies/multiple-currencies-configuration).

### Rounding of the Exchange Rate for Functional and Reporting Amounts According to the Values Specified in the Currency Codes

As part of the on-going implementation of support for multiple currencies, we implemented an enhancement that changed the rounding logic for the exchange rate for Functional and Reporting Amounts. Previously, rounding was uniform across the board for all defined currencies, i.e. set to two digits after point. Now, this will vary from 0 to 3 digits after point, depending on the setting for the given currency.

For more details, refer to [Multiple Currencies](/documentation/processing-configuration/multiple-currencies).
